Domaine Grand Romane
All the grapes come from Family owned vines and are the young vines from the Gigondas. Hand picked late harvest, long maceration and quickly put into oak.
Gigondas Domaine Grand Romane
Average age of vines 50 years, the estate at 400 metres hand picks all the grapes for the Gigondas, Long maceration on Grenace and Syrah While Mourvedre has carbonic maceration to retain fruit. Aged in a combination of large vats and small american and French oak barrels.
La Cuvee Brut Royal
23 cru are blended and aged a minimum of 3 years in the cellars. Rapturous, powerful attack in the mouth. Full and round-bodied. A delightful roll over the palate. Climactic finale, intensely refreshing and lasting.
La Cuvee Royal Rosé
15 different cru are blended and aged for a minimum of 4 years in the cellars. Prune marmalade and orange peel with hints of liquorice and leather. Hints of red berries and emanations of cinnamon.
La Cuvee Royal Vintage 99
The blend here is from 15 different villages and comprises, 1999 was the second largest harvest in the history of Champagne, nevertheless the quality has resulted in a most promising vintage wine.
Sauvignon Blanc
This crisp and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc from the South of France has citrus and spice notes on both the nose and palate. Pleasing to all tastes. Refreshing.
Merlot
This Merlot is deep in color, full-bodied with jammy blackberry and blueberry fruit. Its long and enjoyable finish makes it one to remember
Montravel Blanc
A delightful blend of Sauvignon and Semillon, with a touch of Moscatel added in to lend a bit of weight
Bergerac Rouge
Cabernet sauvignon, Cabernet, Franc, Merlot
Riesling
Light yellow-gold color. Nose of lemon-lime peel, smoke, clover, citron, and some stemminess. Sweet mouthfeel, nice and tasty flavors seem a bit brief at midpalate, but finishes long and fruity.
Pinot Gris
Intense fruit, imposing body, and length with freshness and youth. Its initial ripeness did not allow the wine to finish completely dry, but the residual sweetness is well hidden in this wine.
Gewurztraminer
Great nose, very broad with exotic fruit, very pure. Nice and round on the palate with ripe flavors, and good acidity. Mineral and floral finish. Very very good.
Chateau Cluzan Rouge
Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc. From the Gironde, Bordeaux region.
Domaine de Montpertuis Rouge
70-85% Grenache with Mourvedre, Syrah and Cinsault providing the balance. A 15 to 20 day cuvaison designed to produce a long-lived but not aggressively tannic wine. The wine is aged in large foudres and is normally bottled, without filtration, 18 to 24 months after the harvest, depending on the composition of the wine
Clos des Papes
Merlot. 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, 10% Syrah and 5% others. Only one red cuvée is made. The yield is only about 25 hl/ha. The vines are "only" about 35 years old
