Since its inception over ten years ago, Wither Hills winery has become one of most successful producers of wines from the spectacular Marlborough wine region in New Zealand.
Its iconic winery and cellar door was built in May 2005 in Blenheim's New Renwick Road. This is the hub for Wither Hills' 300 hectares of vineyards dotted throughout the Wairau Valley sub-region.
The winemaking team, led by Chief Winemaker Ben Glover has worked over the years to evolve the Wither Hills' wine style, greatly assisted by the continuing development of Wither HillsŐ key vineyard sites and their individual characteristics.
Wither Hills' four core wines: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, are the foundations of its success. This focused range exemplifies the attention to detail and quality approach which drives the winery's team in crafting and distributing wines that are very much 'created in the vineyard'.
